Article overview
You can send messages by entering the message in the message field in a conversation or channel and clicking on the paper airplane icon to send it.
The time of the message is displayed below the sent message. A delivery status is also displayed.
You can attach any files to your message. Learn more in the article Send and edit images and select files other than images or read Share files in chats. File attachments can be created, sent, received, and played back by any app, browser version, and desktop application.
In the app, you can also send locations, emojis, GIFs, voice messages, or screen recordings.
You can format, search, bookmark, forward, delete, reply to, and like messages.
