User status (Admin)

As an administrator, you can preset statuses for your users. You can choose to disable notifications for users with this status. You can search for and delete organization-wide statuses.

Create organization-wide user status as administrator

  1. Click on Settings.svg "Settings".

  1. Select "Organization Settings".

  1. Select " Person.Status.svg User-Status" under the heading "User Settings".

  1. Click on "Add status" in the top right corner.

  1. The "New User-Status" window will open. Enter the new user status in the "User-Status" field.

  2. Below this is a "Notifications" checkbox, which is not checked by default. If you check this box, users who select this status will continue to receive notifications. If you leave the checkbox unchecked, notifications will be disabled for users who select this status.

  3. Click on "Add".

Search for and delete organization-wide user statuses

You can only delete organization-wide statuses, i.e., statuses created by the administration. User statuses that are chosen by the users themselves cannot be deleted or edited by the administration.

You cannot edit an organization-wide status. Instead, you can delete the old status and create a new one. Users must set the new status again in their profile.

Although you can search for the user status to delete it, it is not possible to search for all users in your organization who have set this status. Please note that the user status should not be confused with the account status, i.e., whether the user has already logged in and assigned an encryption password.   1. Click on Settings.svg "Settings".

  1. Select "Organization settings".

  1. Select " Person.Status.svg User-Status" under the heading "User Settings".

  1. You can search for a user status by the assigned name. Use the "Search status" search field for this purpose.

  2. If you want to delete a status, click on Navigation.Vertical.svg on the right side of the status.

  1. Click on "Delete".

  1. The "Delete User-Status" pop-up will open to ask for your confirmation. Click on "Delete" to permanently delete the status.
