Channel management

Users with the role "Administrator" or their own role with corresponding permissions (list/edit/delete channels) can centrally manage all channels of the organization in the “Channels” section of the organization settings. Here you can also create organization-wide channels, i.e., channels in which all users of the organization are automatically members. For more information, read the article Creating organization-wide channels.

You can also edit all channels that have already been created. The following options are available to you:

Statistics

Right-click on the channel in question and select "Statistics". Information about the number of messages sent (and read) on the channel will open.

Edit managers & members

Lists all members of the channel. Here, members can be promoted to managers and managers can be demoted to members. Users cannot be added to the channel.

Edit visibility (only for encrypted channels)

Makes the channel visible or hides it in the channel search.

Edit channel

Opens the menu window for editing the channel.

Delete channel

Deletes the channel permanently.
