Setting up contact groups

Contact groups allow you to group users and restrict communication between user groups in your organization. As with a channel, you can add any number of users from your organization to a contact group.

  1. Click on the Settings.svg icon in the lower left corner and select "Organization settings."

  2. Select "Contact groups" (2nd from the top).

  3. Click on "Add contact group" in the top right corner.

  4. Give the contact group a name and specify whether a contact group channel should be created that automatically consists out of all the members of the contact group.

  5. Select the contact group members.
