Article overview
As a channel manager, you have more settings options for channels than other users. The pages linked below explain these.
Edit channel
You can change some of the settings that were selected when the channel was created. This includes invitation rights and the display of event information. For more information, see the article Edit a channel (user) .
Promote members to channel manager
You can add manager status to other channel members and give them access to settings. You can also remove manager status from other channel managers. For more information, see the article Change manager status of a channel member .
Delete channel
As a channel manager, you can permanently delete channels. For more information, see the article Delete a channel (user) .
Processing join requests
For encrypted channels, users who want to join the channel can send a join request. Channel managers can then decide whether to accept the users into the channel. You can also reject the join request. For more information, see the article Manage channel join requests .
Remove members from the channel
Channel managers can remove members from the channel. For more information, see the article Remove channel members .
Delete messages from channel members
