Delete a channel (user)

Channel managers can permanently delete public, password-protected, or encrypted channels.

In the web/desktop client

1. Click on the channel you want to delete.

2. Click on the icon in the top right corner.

3. Select "Delete channel".

4. The "Delete channel" view will open, asking you to confirm. Click "Delete channel" in the bottom right corner to permanently delete the channel.

In iOS

1. Tap the channel you want to delete.

2. Tap the channel name at the top.

3. Tap " Delete" at the bottom right under the name.

4. The "Delete channel" screen will open, asking you to confirm. Tap "Delete" in the bottom right corner to permanently delete the channel.

On Android

1. Tap on the channel you want to delete.

2. Tap the channel name at the top.

3. Tap " More" at the bottom right under the channel name.

4. Select "Delete".

5. The "Delete channel" screen will open, asking you to confirm. Tap "Delete" in the bottom right corner to permanently delete the channel.
