Unlike group conversations, channels offer the possibility to communicate with an unlimited number of users in your organization. To create channels, read the article Create a channel.
Unlike group conversations, you cannot add users to a channel, but only invite them. For more information, read the articles Invite users to a channel and Joining a channel.
Only administrators can create channels in which users are automatically members. As an admin, read the article Creating organization-wide channels.
Channels have channel managers who have more settings options available. As the creator of a channel, you are automatically the channel manager. Channel managers can edit channels, remove members, and delete channels. For more information, see the article Manage a channel.
