Conversations cannot be deleted or left, but you can archive conversations to hide them.
If you receive a new message in a conversation that you have archived, the conversation will be displayed again. This also happens if you have disabled notifications for this conversation.
In the web/desktop client

Navigate with your mouse pointer over the conversation you want to archive in your conversation overview. The
icon will appear on the right-hand side. -
Click on the
icon.

The "Archive conversation" pop-up appears. Click on "Archive".
Alternatively, you can also do the following:

Click on the conversation you want to archive.

Click on the
icon at the top right next to the name.

Select "Archive Conversation". The conversation will be archived immediately without confirmation prompt.
In iOS

Go to the conversation overview.

Swipe the conversation you want to archive to the left with your finger until it locks into place.

An "Archive" window will open, asking you to confirm. Tap "Archive".
Alternatively, you can also do the following:

Tap on the conversation you want to archive.

Tap on the user name at the top.

Tap "Archive" to the left of the username.

An "Archive" window will open, asking you to confirm. Tap "Archive".
In Android

Go to the conversation overview.

Tap and hold the conversation you want to archive.

A menu will open. Select "Archive".

The conversation will be archived immediately without a confirmation prompt. The text "The conversation has been successfully archived" will appear at the bottom.
Alternatively, you can also do the following:

Tap on the conversation you want to archive.

Tap in the upper right corner .

Select "Archive".

The conversation will be archived immediately without a confirmation prompt. The text "The conversation has been successfully archived" will appear at the bottom.
Undo archiving
If you receive a new message in the archived conversation, the conversation will automatically be displayed again. If you want to undo the archiving yourself, simply create a new conversation with the relevant users. For more detailed information on creating conversations, see the article Create conversations
Since archiving does not delete messages, you will now see all previous messages in your chat history again.
