Mark a conversation as favorite

You can mark conversations as favorites to pin them to the top of the conversation overview. A favorite conversation is marked with a star on the right side of the name.

The article Mark a channel as favorite refers to this article. You can mark channels as favorites in the same way. Replace the word "conversation" with "channel" in the instructions.

In the web/desktop client

  1. Click on the conversation you want to favorite.

  1. Click on the star under the name.

Alternatively, you can do the following:

  1. Click on the conversation you want to favorite.

  1. Click on the Info.svg icon in the top right corner. The information view will open.

  1. Click on the Navigation.Vertical.svg icon in the upper right corner of the conversation view. Note: Do not click on the Navigation.Vertical.svg icon next to the Info.svg icon.

  2. Select "Mark as Favorite".

Unfavorite

  1. Click on the conversation you want to favorite.

  1. Click on the star below the name.

Alternatively, you can do the following:

  1. Navigate as you would when favoriting.

  1. Instead of "Mark as favorite," you will now see "Unmark as favorite." Select "Unmark as favorite".

In iOS

  1. Go to the conversation overview.

  1. Tap and hold the conversation you want to favorite.

  1. A menu will open. Select "Mark as favorite".

Alternatively, you can do the following:

  1. Tap on the conversation.

  1. Tap on the name at the top.

  1. Tap "Mark favorite" to the right of the name.

Unfavorite

  1. Tap and hold the conversation in the conversation overview.

  1. A menu will open. Select "Unmark as favorite".

Alternatively, you can also do the following:

  1. Tap on the conversation.

  1. Tap the name at the top.

  1. Tap "Unmark favorite" to the right of the name.

On Android

  1. Go to the conversation overview.

  1. Tap and hold the conversation you want to favorite.

  1. A menu will open. Select "Mark as favorite".

Alternatively, you can do the following:

  1. Tap on the conversation.

  1. Tap the Navigation.Vertical.svg icon in the top right corner.

  1. Select "Mark as favorite".

Unfavorite

  1. Tap and hold the conversation in the conversation overview.

  1. A menu will open. Select "Unmark as favorite".
