Show detailed file information

You can view more detailed information about uploaded files.

In the web/desktop client

1. Display the file whose information you want to view in a file storage. In a chat, go to the and click on "Shared files." You can search and sort files in file storage.

2. Click on the icon to the right of the file name.

3. A menu will open. Click on "Show details for this file".

4. You can view the following information:

   1. Shared by: User who uploaded the file.

   2. Filetype: File format of the uploaded file.

   3. Size: Size of the file.

   4. Uploaded on: Upload time.

   5. Last Download (only displayed if the file has been downloaded at least once): Time of the last download.

   6. Downloads: Number of downloads of this file.

   7. Shared in: List of chats in which you shared the file.

In iOS

1. Display the file whose information you want to view in a file storage. In a chat, tap the chat name and then tap "Shared Files". You can search and sort the file storage.

2. Tap and hold the file.

3. A menu will open. Tap "Information".

4. You can view the following information:

   1. Here you can also rename, move, share, copy to your personal file storage, and delete files by tapping the corresponding button, provided you have the appropriate permissions (options for which you do not have permissions are usually hidden).

   2. File type: File format of the uploaded file.

   3. File size: Size of the file.

   4. Downloads: Number of downloads of this file.

   5. Owner: User who uploaded the file.

   6. Uploaded: Upload time.

   7. Location: List of chats in which you shared the file.

On Android

1. Display the file whose information you want to view in a file storage. In a chat, tap the chat name and then tap "Shared files." You can search and sort the file storage.

2. Tap the icon to the right of the file name.

3. A menu will open. Tap "Details".

4. You can view the following information:

   1. Here you can also tap the appropriate button to share files, copy them to your personal file storage, save them locally, and delete them, provided you have the appropriate permissions.

   2. Type: File format of the uploaded file.

   3. File size: Size of the file.

   4. Offline available: Shows whether you can view the file in the app even without an internet connection. By tapping the icon on the right, you can make the file available offline or save it only in the cloud.

   5. Uploaded on: Upload time.

   6. Downloads: Number of downloads of this file.

   7. Shared by: User who uploaded the file.

   8. Shared in: List of chats in which you have shared the file.
