Format messages

You can format your messages in chats. You can write in bold, italics, and strikethrough.

In the web/desktop client

1. Click in the message field.

2. Click on the "Aa" on the right-hand side.

3. The B I S icons appear below the message field.

4. Click on the formatting icons to write in the respective format. You can select message text with the cursor and click on the formatting icons to format the selected text.

Alternatively, you can use the following syntax in the body text to format the text:

In iOS

1. Tap on the "Aa" in the message field on the right.

2. The symbols B I S appear below the message field.

3. Tap the formatting icons to write in the respective format. You can highlight text and format it by tapping the icons.

Entering the syntax as in the desktop client does not result in any formatting.

In Android

You can use the following syntax in continuous text to format the text.
