How are permissions assigned to a user?

User permissions are linked to the user roles that are assigned to a user. User roles are assigned by the administration during creation of the registration key. Depending on which product you are using, the following standard user roles are available:

Administrators: Can use any feature and open administrative settings (user role is assigned by us and can then be assigned by the administrator to other users).

User (can invite other users): Can create channels and conversations, invite additional users and can edit user information in organization settings.

User: Can create channels and conversations.

Guest: Can create conversations.

"Administrators" are to create their own user roles in the organization settings in the “user roles” section. For detailed information read the article Edit and create user roles.
