Edit a channel (Admin)

As an administrator, you can make different settings for channels than you can as a channel manager.

Open channel settings and edit channel type

1. Click on "Settings".

2. Click on "Organization settings".

3. Under the heading "Channel settings" click on "Channels".

4. Here you will find a list of all channels in your organization. You can search and filter the channel list.

5. Click on the icon on the right-hand side of the channel you want to edit.

6. A menu will appear. Select "Manage channel".

7. You now have access to the "Edit Channel" window. All functions that are also available to channel managers for editing are explained in the article Edit a channel (user).

8. Only administrators can switch between password-protected channels and public channels. To do this, click on the menu below the channel image. The only options are "Password protected" and "Public".

9. Click on "Save".

Editing the visibility of encrypted channels

As an administrator, you can edit the visibility of a hidden channel in two ways:

1. Proceed as above and edit an encrypted channel. Activate the "Hidden" switch in the channel settings.

2. Follow the steps above and select "Edit visibility" instead of "Manage channel". You will be asked to confirm. Click "Confirm" to change the channel's privacy settings.
